Motor temperature trip (_ecMOTOR_TEMP_INPUT)
ABB · Application Error ABB Motion Drives Error trouble shoo
Was bedeutet 10019 ?
An over temperature condition has been detected for the motor. This can be triggered either by the hardwired X10 thermistor input or by a serial motor encoder (e.g., Hiperface DSP) providing thermistor resistance data. The drive trips if this value exceeds the MOTORTEMPERATURETRIP parameter.
Häufige Ursachen
- Motor over temperature condition.
- Faulty or incorrectly wired PTC thermistor sensor connected to X10 input.
- Incorrect MOTORTEMPERATURETRIP parameter setting for motors with serial encoders (like Hiperface DSP).
- Issues with the feedback cable or wiring providing thermistor data, especially with serial encoders.
- Using a motor without a PTC thermistor or with a switch that does not go open-circuit at high temperatures, causing incorrect trip behavior.
Reparaturschritte & Checkliste
Klicken Sie auf Schritte, um Ihren Fortschritt zu verfolgen.
- 1
Inspect the motor for signs of overheating; allow it to cool and investigate the mechanical load or duty cycle if actual over-temperature is confirmed.
- 2
For hardwired thermistor inputs (X10), verify the wiring and connections of the PTC thermistor to terminals TH1 and TH2.
- 3
For motors with serial encoders, verify the MOTORTEMPERATURETRIP parameter is set to a resistance suitable for the motor's thermistor device (e.g., MOTORTEMPERATURETRIP(0) = 1200).
- 4
Check the feedback cable and wiring for damage, shorts, or loose connections that could affect temperature feedback data, regardless of the feedback type.
- 5
If temperature monitoring is not desired or applicable, ensure a wire link (short-circuit) is installed between X10 terminals TH1 and TH2 to suppress the hardwired thermistor trip function.
