This fault indicates that the controller's internal temperature, typically measured at the heatsink, has exceeded its safe operating limit. This is often caused by insufficient cooling. Prolonged operation at high temperatures can severely degrade the lifespan of the controller's electronic components.

• Blocked or dirty heatsink fins and cooling fan obstructing airflow within the controller enclosure.
• Ambient temperature around the controller exceeding its maximum specified operating limit (e.g., >40 degrees Celsius).
• Degraded or failed cooling fan within the controller, reducing airflow over the heatsink.
• Installation of the controller in an enclosure that is too small or lacks adequate ventilation (e.g., fan, exhaust filters).
• Continuous operation at or above the controller's rated current for extended periods in high ambient temperatures.

   1. Inspect controller heatsink fins and cooling fan for dust, dirt, or obstructions. Clean thoroughly using compressed air (non-conductive) or a soft brush.
