General Power Card Fault
Danfoss · VLT 2800 Variable Speed Drive
Was bedeutet 43 ?
This is a general fault indicating a problem with the drive's power card. This component is responsible for the power conversion and control to the motor, so a fault here implies a significant hardware failure that will prevent the drive from outputting power. This requires immediate attention to prevent further damage.
Häufige Ursachen
- Failure of an IGBT (Insulated Gate Bipolar Transistor) or rectifier component on the power card, causing an imbalance or short circuit.
- Blown DC link fuse or damaged pre-charge circuit, preventing the DC bus from charging correctly.
- Malfunctioning current sensors or voltage sensors on the power card, providing incorrect feedback to the control card.
- Overheating of power card components due to blocked cooling fins, failed cooling fan, or excessive ambient temperature.
Reparaturschritte & Checkliste
Klicken Sie auf Schritte, um Ihren Fortschritt zu verfolgen.
- 1
1. Disconnect input power and motor, then measure the continuity of all input fuses (L1, L2, L3) and the DC link fuses.
- 2
2. With input power applied, measure the DC bus voltage at terminals P(+) and N(-) (approx. 1.35 * Input_Line_RMS).
- 3
3. Visually inspect the power card for signs of physical damage, such as burnt components, swelled capacitors, or discoloration.
- 4
4. Test the functionality of the cooling fan (if present) by commanding a low-speed run or using a diagnostic function.
- 5
5. If external components are verified, replace the entire power card assembly.
