AMA motor too big
Danfoss · VLT HVAC Basic FC 101
Was bedeutet ALARM 53 ?
The motor connected is too large for the Automatic Motor Adaptation (AMA) function to be successfully performed by this frequency converter. The drive may not be adequately sized for the motor, which can lead to inaccurate parameter identification or drive overload.
Häufige Ursachen
- The motor's rated power (P1-22) exceeds the frequency converter's maximum rated output power.
- The motor's rated current (P1-21) exceeds the frequency converter's maximum continuous output current.
- Incorrect motor data entry, particularly P1-21 (Nominal Current) or P1-22 (Nominal Power).
- Operating the drive above its specified altitude or ambient temperature limits, derating its capacity.
- Frequency converter internal current sensor range limitation or fault.
Reparaturschritte & Checkliste
Klicken Sie auf Schritte, um Ihren Fortschritt zu verfolgen.
- 1
Compare the motor's rated power (P1-22) and current (P1-21) from the nameplate with the frequency converter's specifications.
- 2
Verify the input motor data in P1-20 (Nominal Voltage), P1-21, P1-22, P1-23, P1-24 are correct.
- 3
Consider using a larger frequency converter that is appropriately sized for the motor's power and current requirements.
- 4
Ensure no mechanical binding or excessive load is present on the motor shaft during AMA (AMA is typically no-load).
- 5
If motor data seems correct and sizing is appropriate, try a manual parameterization if the drive allows.
