The serial Pulsecoder fails to return serial data in response to a request signal. This indicates a communication fault between the servo amplifier and the Pulsecoder, potentially due to loose connections, damaged cabling, or a faulty Pulsecoder itself.

- Interruption in serial communication between the servo controller and pulsecoder.
- Damaged pulsecoder serial data cable or connectors.
- Faulty pulsecoder unit reporting invalid serial data.
- Noise interference on the serial communication lines (e.g., P1-31, P1-32).
- Incorrect pulsecoder communication protocol settings.

Ensure the robot connection cable (RMP1, RP1) connector (CRF8) on the 6-Axis servo amplifier and the connector on the motor side are tightly connected.

Check that the shielding of the robot connection cable (RMP1, RP1) is securely grounded in the cabinet.

Replace the Pulsecoder.

Replace the servo amplifier.
