Overvoltage Error

Indramat · dds 2.1 digital servo drive User Manual

Was bedeutet S-0-0011 Bit 8 ?

A Class 1 Diagnostic indicating that the DC bus voltage within the DDS 2.1 drive has exceeded its maximum permissible limit. This usually occurs during deceleration or due to an issue with the mains power supply, leading to a drive shutdown to protect internal components. The drive decelerates to zero speed and shuts down torque. This condition is reset only after the cause is cleared and the command 'Reset Class 1 Diagnostics' is received via the service channel.

Häufige Ursachen

  • Excessive regenerative energy fed back from the motor during rapid deceleration, exceeding the capacity of the braking resistor or regeneration unit.
  • Missing or incorrectly sized external braking resistor.
  • Faulty or disconnected external braking resistor.
  • Mains supply voltage is too high or experiencing transient voltage spikes.
  • Incorrectly set deceleration ramps, making them too fast for the inertia and braking capacity.

Reparaturschritte & Checkliste

Klicken Sie auf Schritte, um Ihren Fortschritt zu verfolgen.

  1. 1

Measure the incoming mains supply voltage to ensure it is stable and within the specified range for the DDS 2.1 drive.

  2. 2

Check the external braking resistor (if used) for proper connection, resistance value, and integrity; ensure it is not open-circuited.

  3. 3

Verify that the braking resistor is correctly sized for the application's inertia and deceleration rates.

  4. 4

Increase deceleration times (smoother ramps) in the drive parameters to reduce regenerative energy if overvoltage occurs during stopping.

  5. 5

Inspect the DC bus capacitors for any signs of damage or leakage.
