Power unit: Air intake overtemperature
Siemens · SINAMICS G120C Variable Speed Drive
Was bedeutet F30035 ?
The air intake temperature in the power unit has exceeded the permissible limit, typically 55 °C. This condition signifies critical overheating of the incoming air, often caused by high ambient temperatures, insufficient airflow, or a fan failure. This fault forces an OFF1 or OFF2 reaction, stopping the drive, and cannot be acknowledged until the temperature falls below the alarm threshold of A05002.
Häufige Ursachen
- Control cabinet ventilation system malfunction (e.g., fan failure, blocked exhaust vents, clogged air filters).
- Ambient room temperature consistently exceeding the drive's absolute maximum operating temperature (e.g., >55°C).
- Recirculation of hot exhaust air from the cabinet or nearby equipment back into the drive's air intake.
- Incorrect drive mounting orientation preventing proper natural convection or forcing air against the cooling design.
Reparaturschritte & Checkliste
Klicken Sie auf Schritte, um Ihren Fortschritt zu verfolgen.
- 1
Measure the air intake temperature directly at the drive using a thermal sensor or calibrated thermometer.
- 2
Verify the operation of all control cabinet cooling fans and clean any clogged air filter mats.
- 3
Check for obstructions in the cabinet's exhaust path, ensuring hot air can escape freely.
- 4
Monitor the control cabinet's internal temperature and external ambient temperature over time using data loggers.
- 5
Review the drive's installation manual for correct mounting clearances and ambient temperature specifications.
