Overtorque Detection 1
Yaskawa · V1000
Was bedeutet oL3 ?
This fault indicates that the drive's output current exceeded the level set in L6-02 for longer than the time specified in L6-03. This suggests a mechanical issue like a machine lock-up or that the load parameters are incorrectly configured. Leaving this unresolved can lead to continued machine stress, overheating, or damage to connected equipment.
Häufige Ursachen
- Mechanical jam or excessive friction in the driven equipment (e.g., conveyor, pump, fan impeller).
- Motor or drive is undersized for the peak torque requirements of the application.
- Rapid acceleration rate (e.g., C1-01) set too fast for the load's inertia.
- Incorrect overtorque detection level (L6-02) set too low, or overtorque detection time (L6-03) set too short.
- Worn bearings in the motor or gearbox increasing frictional load.

- 1
1. Manually attempt to rotate the load mechanism to identify any mechanical binding or obstruction.
- 2
2. Monitor the drive's output current (e.g., display parameter U1-06) during operation and compare to motor nameplate rated current.
- 3
3. Increase parameter L6-02 (Overtorque Detection 1 Level) or L6-03 (Overtorque Detection 1 Time) in small increments if mechanical inspection yields no fault.
- 4
4. Verify acceleration time parameter C1-01 is appropriate for the load inertia; increase it if acceleration is too rapid.
- 5
5. Perform a load test without the motor connected to the mechanical system if possible, to isolate the motor/drive from the load.
- 6
6. Check motor parameters P1-01 through P1-08 for accuracy against the motor nameplate.
