Allen-Bradley · PowerFlex 4 Adjustable Frequency
This fault indicates that the drive's heatsink temperature has exceeded its safe operating limit. Common causes include obstructions to airflow, accumulated dirt on the fins, or an ambient temperature that is too high.
Click steps to track your progress.
Inspect the heatsink fins for any blockages, debris, or excessive dirt and thoroughly clean them to ensure proper airflow.
Verify the ambient temperature surrounding the drive does not exceed 40°C (104°F) for IP30/NEMA1/UL Type1 installations or 50°C (122°F) for Open type installations.
Check the operation of the cooling fan (if present) to confirm it is running and effectively dissipating heat.
