Phase UV Short

What does 41 mean?

Excessive current has been detected between output terminals U and V. This indicates a short circuit condition between these two motor phases or their connecting wiring, leading to very high currents and potential drive damage.

Common Causes

  • Short circuit detected between Phase U and Phase V.
  • Damaged insulation between Phase U and Phase V motor windings.
  • Faulty motor power cable with U and V shorted.
  • Internal short circuit in the drive's output stage.
