A system error was detected in either the MCA or BMC subsystem at a specific code line. This is a minor system error; however, a precise cause can only be determined after examination by the development department. No error recovery is possible by the technician.

Verify supply voltage at the main power input terminals of the Bosch Rexroth motion control unit against nominal specifications.
Inspect all external cabling (power, motor, encoder, communication) for physical damage, proper routing, and secure connections, including ground continuity.
Check the operating environment, including ambient temperature and ventilation, to ensure it is within the manufacturer's specified limits for the motion control unit.
Access and document the diagnostic buffer or event log of the motion control unit for any additional error codes or warnings preceding or concurrent with error 847.
