What does ALARM 70 mean?

The control card and power card installed in the frequency converter are incompatible with each other. This prevents the drive from starting or operating correctly, requiring compatible hardware components for functionality.

• Control card from one drive family or power range installed into a power card from a different family/range.
• Control card and power card revision numbers are mismatched or not approved for combination by the manufacturer.
• Incorrect replacement parts used during maintenance or repair, leading to incompatibility.
• Internal communication fault between the control card and power card during startup or operation.
• Damaged communication ribbon cable or connectors between the two sections of the drive.
