While in Fire Mode, one or more warranty-voiding alarms have been suppressed, indicating that the drive is operating under extreme conditions beyond its normal limits. This significantly increases the risk of equipment damage and voids the product warranty.
Click steps to track your progress.
Monitor actual motor output current (e.g., Parameter P0-03 'Output Current') and compare against the motor nominal current (P1-22) to identify prolonged overload conditions.
Check the drive's internal heatsink temperature (e.g., Parameter P0-05 'Heatsink Temp') and ensure that ambient ventilation around the drive enclosure is not obstructed.
Measure incoming line voltage at the drive input terminals (L1, L2, L3) and the DC link voltage (P0-01) during operation to identify extreme voltage conditions.
Inspect the motor for any physical signs of overheating (e.g., discolored paint, burnt smell) or unusual noise that indicates mechanical stress.
After safely exiting Fire Mode, conduct a comprehensive inspection of the motor, drive, and driven mechanical equipment for any damage resulting from extreme operating conditions.
