Danfoss · VLT Micro Drive FC 51
During Automatic Motor Tuning (AMT), the detected motor current was too low, indicating an issue with the motor or its connection, or incorrect motor current parameter settings. This inhibits the drive from properly characterizing the motor.
Click steps to track your progress.
De-energize the drive and measure continuity of all three motor cables from the drive's output terminals (U, V, W) to the motor's terminals.
Measure the resistance of each motor winding (U-V, V-W, W-U) at the motor's terminal box, verifying balanced and non-infinite readings.
Confirm the motor's nominal current (P1-23) is correctly entered based on the motor nameplate data.
Ensure the motor is not completely disconnected or physically removed during the AMT process.
If other causes are ruled out, consider an internal drive issue with current measurement and consult technical support.
