The Energy Charge Module's (ECM) Capacitor Modules are not charging normally. This indicates a failure in the charging process, possibly due to a fault in the Capacitor Module itself (A06B-6158-H020), the charging control circuit, or insufficient power supply.
Click steps to track your progress.
Immediately stop the machine using the emergency stop button and open the external Main Circuit Contactor (MCC) of the Power supply.
Inspect the Capacitor Modules (A06B-6158-H020) for any visible damage or signs of malfunction, such as bulging or leakage.
Check the connections between the ECM Control Module (A06B-6158-H010) and the Capacitor Modules for secure contact and continuity.
Verify the functionality of the DC Reactor (A06B-6158-H040), which smooths the charge and discharge current (page 578).
Measure the input power to the ECM to ensure it meets the requirements for charging the capacitor modules.
