SP0133

Data Transfer Error

Fanuc · Macro B CNC Programming

What does SP0133 mean?

Serial data transmission/reception is not performed normally between the spindle sensor and amplifier. This suggests an issue with the integrity or timing of data transfer, potentially causing inaccurate position or speed feedback and affecting spindle control.

Common Causes

  • Control power supply voltage is too low (below P1-02 threshold).
  • Issue with the internal DC-DC converter.
  • External 24VDC supply fault.
  • Wiring issue to the control power input.

Repair Steps & Checklist

Click steps to track your progress.

  1. 1

Verify the physical connection of the sensor cable between the spindle sensor and the spindle amplifier, ensuring it is securely seated.

  2. 2

Inspect the sensor cable for any physical damage, such as cuts or severe bends, that could disrupt data signals.

  3. 3

If the cable is physically sound, attempt to reset the alarm.

  4. 4

If the alarm continues to appear, replacement of the spindle sensor or spindle amplifier might be necessary due to a potential component failure (refer to page 13 for general component replacement advice).
