PSM Main Circuit Heat Sink Overheat

What does 3 mean?

The alarm indicates that the temperature of the main circuit heat sink within the Power Supply Module (PSM) has risen abnormally. This condition can lead to thermal stress on power components and potential module failure if not addressed. It implies a failure in heat dissipation.

Common Causes

  • Cooling fan for the main circuit is broken or not rotating.
  • Accumulation of dust in the cooling system, obstructing airflow.
  • System overload, causing excessive heat generation.
  • Poor installation of the control printed-circuit board, potentially due to detached connectors between control and power boards.
