No Control Voltage Detected

Fronius · Perfect Charging

What does 15 mean?

The battery charger is not detecting the necessary internal control voltage. This voltage is essential for the operation of the internal control logic, microcontrollers, and other low-power circuits within the device, preventing any operational functionality.

Common Causes

  • Failure of an internal power supply circuit responsible for generating the control voltage.
  • A blown fuse or tripped circuit breaker in the control voltage supply path.
  • A disconnection within the internal wiring or power distribution related to the control voltage supply.

Repair Steps & Checklist

Click steps to track your progress.

  1. 1

Measure the control voltage at specified test points or terminals on the charger's control board (if documented) to confirm its presence and level.

  2. 2

Inspect all relevant fuses and miniature circuit breakers associated with the internal control voltage supply circuits.

  3. 3

Verify internal wiring connections related to the control voltage supply for proper continuity and secure contact.
