TagID Invalid Device Signature

Fronius · Perfect Charging

What does 211 mean?

The TagID module presents an invalid or unrecognized device signature. This can be a security feature indicating an unauthorized or counterfeit module, or it might point to corrupted signature data.

Common Causes

  • Connecting an incompatible or unauthorized TagID module to the charger.
  • Corrupted device signature data stored in the TagID's non-volatile memory.
  • A firmware mismatch or incompatibility between the charger and the TagID module that affects signature recognition.

Repair Steps & Checklist

Click steps to track your progress.

  1. 1

Verify the authenticity and compatibility of the TagID module with the charger model and specifications.

  2. 2

Check for any available firmware updates for both the charger and the TagID module that might address signature recognition issues.

  3. 3

If the signature remains invalid, the TagID module may be defective or incompatible and require replacement.
