ArcContinuousFault

Fronius · Primo GEN24 Operating Instructions

What does 242 mean?

An arc has been detected in the PV system, and this code is displayed after status code 241 has been reset. The inverter will then attempt to resume feeding energy into the grid. This suggests a temporary arc that has been cleared and acknowledged.

Common Causes

  • Previous arcing fault has been acknowledged, and the system is attempting to re-establish operation.
  • Possible transient arc event that resolved itself or was mitigated after initial detection.

Repair Steps & Checklist

Click steps to track your progress.

  1. 1

Reset the status code by pressing the 'Enter' key on the inverter display.

  2. 2

Monitor the inverter's operation to ensure the arc fault does not reoccur and that feed-in resumes normally.
