307

DC low (DC input voltage too low for feeding energy into the grid)

Fronius · Primo GEN24 Operating Instructions

What does 307 mean?

This code indicates that the DC input voltage from the PV strings is too low for the inverter to feed energy into the grid. This status code is commonly displayed in conditions of low solar irradiation, such as early morning or evening, and is not usually indicative of a fault.

Common Causes

  • Insufficient solar irradiation, leading to low DC voltage from the PV modules.
  • Partial shading of PV modules or dirty module surfaces.
  • Faulty PV string or module generating insufficient voltage.

Repair Steps & Checklist

Click steps to track your progress.

  1. 1

Wait for a sufficient level of insolation; the inverter will resume operation automatically when DC voltage increases.

  2. 2

Check the solar modules for any coverings like snow or debris, and assess for shading that could reduce DC input voltage.

  3. 3

If this status code keeps recurring despite good insolation, notify a Fronius-trained service engineer to check PV string voltage.
