2932 E007

Wrong RDY status of axes

Heidenhain · NC Control

What does 2932 E007 mean?

The RDY (Ready) status of one or more axes is incorrect, preventing them from being ready for operation. This can be caused by defective cabling to the inverter(s), an axis not being connected (e.g., via an axis release relay), or a defective inverter unit.

Common Causes

  • Cabling to inverter defective.
  • No axis connected (axis release relay issue).
  • Inverter defective.

Repair Steps & Checklist

Click steps to track your progress.

  1. 1

Inspect all cabling between the NC control, axis inverter(s), and axis motors for damage, loose connections, or incorrect wiring.

  2. 2

Verify the status and functionality of any axis release relays; ensure they are properly activated and their contacts are making good connection.

  3. 3

Check the inverter(s)' status indicators and fault history for any specific error codes related to axis readiness or internal faults.

  4. 4

Measure power supply voltages to the inverter(s) and axis motors to ensure they are within specification and stable.

  5. 5

If possible, perform basic operational checks on individual axis motors (e.g., manual rotation if unpowered) to rule out mechanical issues.
