Heidenhain · NC Control
A TOOL CALL command is not permitted when M128 (tool radius compensation active) is currently active. This is a program execution restriction to prevent conflicts with tool path calculations.
Click steps to track your progress.
Before attempting a TOOL CALL, ensure that M128 (tool radius compensation) is deactivated.
Insert the M129 command in the NC program to cancel M128 prior to the TOOL CALL command.
Verify the sequence of NC commands to ensure M128 is not accidentally activated or left active when a TOOL CALL is required.
Review the machining program to understand why M128 is active and if it's being correctly managed in the sequence of operations.
