E260

Current Limitation Active

Indramat · ECODRIVE Controller

What does E260 mean?

This warning indicates that the ECODRIVE DKC01.1/DKC11.1 speed controller is entering its limit, meaning the acceleration capacity of the drive has been exceeded. In position control mode, this results in an ever-increasing deviation between command and actual values (lag error).

Common Causes

  • Parametrized acceleration value is too high for the drive's capacity or connected load.
  • Speed value is set too high in position control mode for the application dynamics.
  • Torque limit value in the ECODRIVE DKC01.1/DKC11.1 drive is set too low.
  • Excessive load or friction on the mechanical system.

Repair Steps & Checklist

Click steps to track your progress.

  1. 1

In position control mode, reduce the parametrized acceleration value or speed value to allow the ECODRIVE DKC01.1/DKC11.1 drive to follow the position command.

  2. 2

Increase the torque limit value in the drive parameters if necessary and permissible by the application and motor ratings.

  3. 3

Inspect the mechanical system for excessive load, binding, or friction that could be hindering motion.

  4. 4

Verify motor sizing against the application requirements to ensure it can deliver the necessary torque.
