F226

Undervoltage Error

Indramat · ECODRIVE Controller

What does F226 mean?

The drive controller monitors the DC bus voltage. If the DC bus voltage falls below a predefined minimal threshold, the drive independently shuts down, triggering the configured error reaction. This protects the drive from operation with insufficient power.

Common Causes

  • The power source has been interrupted without first switching off the drive enable (RF) signal.
  • Disturbance or sag in the main power supply.

Repair Steps & Checklist

Click steps to track your progress.

  1. 1

Verify the logic and sequence of operations for the drive enable (RF) signal within the connected control system, ensuring it is removed before the power source is interrupted.

  2. 2

Check the main power supply voltage to the drive controller for stability and correct levels.

  3. 3

Measure the DC bus voltage during operation to identify any sags or interruptions.

  4. 4

Ensure the control enable signal is removed to clear the error.
