The motor's actual position has exceeded a defined safety-related position limit in the negative direction. This fault, part of safe motion monitoring, prevents the axis from moving beyond a safe physical boundary in the reverse direction.

Check for any mechanical issues that could cause the axis to overshoot its intended position, such as worn brakes or excessive play.
Inspect the position encoder and its cabling for proper function and signal integrity.
Review the motion control program for unintended commands or logic errors that might cause overtravel.
Adjust deceleration ramps or braking parameters if the axis consistently overshoots due to inertia.
