What does F8012 mean?

During automatic commutation, the motor exceeded its maximum allowed motion range (either positive or negative direction). This indicates that the drive could not complete the commutation determination within the configured or inherent mechanical movement limits.

• Mechanical blockage or restriction of the motor's shaft.
• Incorrectly configured travel limits or safety limits within the drive parameters.
• Encoder feedback issues leading to inaccurate position detection.
• Overly sensitive settings for motion range monitoring during commutation.
