S-0-0011 Bit 9

Undervoltage Error

Indramat · dds 2.1 digital servo drive User Manual

What does S-0-0011 Bit 9 mean?

A Class 1 Diagnostic indicating that the DC bus voltage within the DDS 2.1 drive has fallen below its minimum permissible operating threshold. This typically occurs due to an issue with the incoming mains power supply, leading to a drive shutdown. The drive decelerates to zero speed and shuts down torque. This condition is reset only after the cause is cleared and the command 'Reset Class 1 Diagnostics' is received via the service channel.

Common Causes

  • Mains supply voltage sag or complete loss of one or more phases.
  • Insufficient power supply capacity to meet the drive's demand, especially during acceleration or heavy loads.
  • Loose or corroded power connections to the DDS 2.1 drive.
  • Mains rectifier fault within the drive.
  • Blown fuses or tripped circuit breakers in the input power line.

Repair Steps & Checklist

Click steps to track your progress.

  1. 1

Measure the incoming mains supply voltage (L1, L2, L3) at the DDS 2.1 input terminals to confirm it is stable, balanced, and within the specified operating range.

  2. 2

Check all input power fuses and circuit breakers for continuity or tripped status.

  3. 3

Inspect all power wiring connections to the DDS 2.1 drive for tightness, corrosion, or damage.

  4. 4

Verify that the power supply capacity (transformer, wiring) is adequate for the drive and motor load.

  5. 5

Monitor the mains supply for intermittent sags or brownouts, especially under load.
