Motor Overtemperature

What does 57 mean?

The motor's temperature has exceeded its safe operating limit, or the digital input DIA4, configured for motor overtemperature protection, has been deactivated. Prolonged operation at high temperatures or lack of protection can cause motor insulation damage.

Common Causes

  • Motor temperature is too high
  • Digital input DIA4, used for motor overtemperature protection, is deactivated
  • Running motor for long periods at low speed
