Positioning Errors of Deceleration Switches TWO for Going-down

Kone · Frequency Inverter

What does 13 mean?

This fault indicates various issues with the positioning or activation of the deceleration switches for downward travel. It covers scenarios such as switches being positioned too low or too high relative to self-learning positions, failure to activate, or incorrect configuration of one-step versus two-step switches as defined by parameter F182.

Common Causes

  • Deceleration switch for double-floor down positioned lower than 3/5 of the floor's rise during power-on or after self-learning.
  • Deceleration switch for double-floor down positioned 150 mm higher than the double-floor up switch during lift operation.
  • Deceleration switch for double-floor down positioned 250 mm lower than its self-learned position during lift operation.
  • Deceleration switch for double-floor down positioned 200 mm lower than its self-learned position and fails to activate when the lift is stopped.
  • Only one-step deceleration switches are installed, but parameter F182 is configured for two-step deceleration switches.

Repair Steps & Checklist

Click steps to track your progress.

  1. 1

Verify the physical position of the deceleration switch for double-floor down according to installation guidelines and self-learned positions.

  2. 2

Check the activation and deactivation of the deceleration switch for double-floor down when the lift is moving and stopped.

  3. 3

Review and adjust parameter F182 to ensure it correctly corresponds to whether one-step or two-step deceleration switches are installed.

  4. 4

Initiate a self-learning travel sequence to recalibrate deceleration switch positions if they are physically correct but reported as errors.
