This fault signifies that the brake contactor (KMB) is reporting a closed contact status via its detecting terminals (including the two rear detecting terminals), despite there being no output from the KMB relay on the master control PCB. This indicates the KMB contactor's contacts are stuck in the closed position when they should be open.
Click steps to track your progress.
Physically inspect the KMB brake contactor for any signs of mechanical sticking, damage, or welded contacts.
Measure the voltage/continuity at all detecting terminals (including the two rear ones) associated with KMB when the KMB relay output is off.
Verify that there is no output signal from the KMB relay on the master control PCB when the brake is commanded to be open.
Check the wiring integrity between the KMB contactor and its detecting terminals on the master control PCB for any breaks or shorts.
