0106

Inverter not OK

Kone · V3F25/18 drive

What does 0106 mean?

The V3F25/18 drive is prevented from operating until this fault is corrected. This indicates a general issue with the inverter's internal operation or its external control signals and feedback.

Common Causes

  • Loose or incorrect connections of the tachometer and thermal switch (XM2).
  • The value for Tacho fault counter (6_35) parameter may be too sensitive.
  • LBR LED does not light.
  • LBR lights but LBE is not activated at start (check parameter 6_38).
  • MLB is 'shutdown' (check voltage in supply and X10/16 in MLB for +24V).

Repair Steps & Checklist

Click steps to track your progress.

  1. 1

Check connections of tachometer and thermal switch (XM2).

  2. 2

If Tacho fault counter (6_35) parameter is too sensitive, turn the elevator to RDF and back to Normal to reset it.

  3. 3

If LBR LED does not light, refer to AS-11.65.008 and circuit diagrams.

  4. 4

If LBR lights but LBE is not activated at start, check parameter (6_38).

  5. 5

If MLB is 'shutdown', check voltage in the supply and at terminals X10/16 in MLB (+24V).

  6. 6

    Remove the U REF2 jumper.
