Intermediate circuit voltage too high, KPP/KSP (axis)

What does 26107 mean?

This fault indicates an overvoltage condition in the intermediate DC link circuit during operation. This typically occurs when regenerative energy from braking is not adequately dissipated or if the incoming mains voltage is too high. Sustained overvoltage can damage the DC bus capacitors and power semiconductors of the drive.

Common Causes

  • Excessive load during braking, generating too much regenerative energy.
  • Mains voltage exceeding the permissible input range for the drive.
  • Malfunction of the ballast switch or braking resistor circuit.
