Interbus: bus error

What does 1606 mean?

An error or malfunction has occurred in data transmission on the Interbus. This will stop data transmission on the Interbus and reset all outputs.

Common Causes

  • Communication failure on the Interbus network.
  • Loose or damaged Interbus cable connection.
  • Terminating resistor missing or incorrectly placed on the Interbus bus.
  • Faulty Interbus node device on the network.
  • Incorrect configuration of Interbus network parameters (e.g., node address).
