What does LaserWaiting- ForAllocation mean?

The 'LSR Allocate' instruction has been called by the robot program, but the laser is currently not free. This message indicates a delay while the system waits for the laser to become available from another process or station.

Common Causes

  • Laser system is waiting for resource allocation.
  • Laser has not been granted access to the process.
  • Inter-system communication delay for laser assignment.
  • Laser is in a queue for system resources.
  • Process controller has not yet allocated the laser.
