STAS1 Off

Safety Node A Power Supply Not Present

Kuka · Sunrise Cabinet Med Controller

What does STAS1 Off mean?

The STAS1 (Safety node A) Orange LED is OFF, indicating no supply voltage is present for this safety node. This absence of power prevents Safety Node A from operating, which could compromise the overall safety functionality of the system.

Common Causes

  • The power supply for Safety Node A (STAS1) is off.
  • The STAS1 safety device has lost its power connection.
  • No voltage detected on the STAS1 safety module's power input.

Repair Steps & Checklist

Click steps to track your progress.

  1. 1

Check fuse F17.3 on the CCU_SR for continuity and proper rating.

  2. 2

If the PWR/3.3V LED (Item 6, Page 98) lights up, indicating main 3.3V power is present, exchange the CCU_SR module, as the safety node's power supply is likely faulty internally.
