Module moderate error

Mitsubishi Electric · MELSEC iQ-R Series

What does 1200H mean?

A moderate error has occurred within a module. This error indicates a condition that, while not critical, impacts module functionality, and the "Moderate" setting is configured to stop the CPU. If the "Direct change setting" is enabled, the system might continue operation without stopping, but the error itself will persist.

Common Causes

  • The "CPU Module Operation Setting at Error Detected Moderate" parameter is set to "Stop" under "I/O Assignment Setting".
  • A moderate fault condition occurred in an I/O assigned module.
  • A module was physically removed or experienced a failure during operation while "Direct change setting" was enabled.

Repair Steps & Checklist

Click steps to track your progress.

  1. 1

Verify the "Direct change setting" parameter at [Parameter] -> Module model name -> [CPU Parameter] -> "RAS Setting" -> "Online module change setting".

  2. 2

Check the "CPU Module Operation Setting at Error Detected Moderate" parameter setting within System Parameter -> I/O Assignment Setting (each module).

  3. 3

Before removing a module, ensure the external power supply input to the module is shut off.
