E.PUE
Parameter unit disconnection
Mitsubishi Electric · A500 Inverter
What does E.PUE mean?
This function stops the inverter output if communication between the inverter and the Parameter Unit (PU) is suspended due to disconnection or successive communication errors. This occurs when Pr. 75 is set to "2", "3", "16", or "17" for reset/disconnection detection, or if Pr. 121 is "9999" (RS-485) and the number of retries is exceeded, or if communication breaks for the time set in Pr. 122.
Common Causes
- Communication cable disconnected or broken between parameter unit and main controller.
- Faulty connection at the terminal block of the parameter unit or main controller.
- Power supply failure to the parameter unit.
- Parameter unit itself has failed or is not recognized by the system.
Repair Steps & Checklist
Click steps to track your progress.
- 1
Securely fit the DU and PU operation panels to the inverter.
- 2
Verify the setting of parameter Pr. 75.
- 3
Check the value of Pr. 121 for RS-485 communication retry settings.
- 4
Check the time set in Pr. 122 for communication break detection.
