Mitsubishi Electric · Mitsubishi MSZ-FH06-18NA Heat Pump System
This fault occurs when the indoor electronic control P.C. board experiences an inability to properly read data from its nonvolatile memory. This is a critical internal error of the main control board, preventing it from functioning correctly, storing settings, or managing unit operations. The unit will remain inoperable until this memory issue is resolved.
Click steps to track your progress.
Perform a complete power cycle of the indoor unit by removing power for at least 5 minutes to clear any transient states in the memory.
Check the stability of the power supply voltages (e.g., 5VDC, 12VDC) on the indoor P.C. board at the main power input points (e.g., CN2). Look for ripple or drops.
If applicable, attempt to re-initialize the unit to factory default settings using the service buttons or via the service tool, which may overwrite corrupted data.
Inspect the indoor P.C. board for any visible signs of physical damage, such as bulging capacitors, scorch marks, or cracked solder joints around memory chips.
Verify that all configuration DIP switches or jumpers (e.g., SW1) are correctly set according to the installation manual, as incorrect settings can sometimes lead to data read issues.
If the error persists after these checks, the indoor electronic control P.C. board is likely faulty and requires replacement.
