Indoor/Outdoor Unit Connection Error

What does E30 mean?

There is an error in the physical or communication connection between the indoor and outdoor units. This prevents proper system operation, as commands and status updates cannot be exchanged.

Common Causes

  • Break in the communication wiring between indoor and outdoor units.
  • Loose or corroded connection terminals.
  • Incorrect polarity of communication wires.
  • Faulty communication interface on either unit.
