Event Log Save Error

What does 10230000 hex mean?

Saving the event log failed in the PLC Function Module. This error is detected at power ON or Controller reset, categorized as an observation level error. User program execution is not affected, but part or all of the past event log cannot be read.

Common Causes

  • Low battery voltage prevented retention of memory during a power interruption (NJ/NX-series).
  • A forced shutdown was performed (NY-series).
  • Data in the event log area are invalid (NY-series).
  • Data in the NX Unit event log area are invalid (NX1P2 CPU Unit).

    Replace the Battery on NJ/NX-series Controllers periodically.

  2. 2

    Perform a shutdown using methods other than a forced shutdown (NY-series).

  3. 3

    Cycle the power to the Industrial PC; if the error persists, replace the Industrial PC (NY-series) if event logs are used.

  4. 4

    Cycle the power supply to the CPU Unit; if the error persists, replace the CPU Unit (NX1P2 CPU Unit) if event logs are used.
