Omron · SYSMAC CJ2 CPU Unit
This error occurs when the total number of I/O points configured in the I/O Table (excluding Slave Racks) exceeds the maximum allowed for the CPU Unit, or when the number of interrupt input points exceeds 32, or when the number of Expansion Racks exceeds the maximum. The CPU Unit operation will stop, and the ERR/ALM indicator on the front of the CPU Unit will light. Details on the specific cause are provided by A407.13 to A407.15.
Click steps to track your progress.
Access the I/O Table in CX-Programmer and reduce the number of I/O points until it is within the CPU Unit's specifications
Review and reduce the number of configured interrupt input points to 32 or less
Verify the number of Expansion Racks does not exceed the maximum allowed for the CPU Unit configuration
Check A407.13 to A407.15 in binary (000 for too many I/O total, 001 for too many interrupt input points, 100 for too many Pulse I/O Modules, 101 for too many Racks, 111 for too many Units on a Rack) to determine the specific cause
Modify the hardware configuration to match the CPU's capacity if the programmed I/O count cannot be reduced
