Segment Voltage US Not Present

What does 6 mean?

The segment voltage US is not supplied to the device, even though sensor circuits 1 and 2 are active and the reset/start circuit is activated. This critical condition prevents proper internal device operation and indicates a power supply issue to the US segment. Functional safety cannot be ensured without the segment voltage US.

Common Causes

  • Upstream cascaded module is not forwarding the segment voltage US
  • External fuse supplying the segment voltage US has blown
