MODBUS FAULT

What does SLF mean?

This fault indicates an interruption in communication on the Modbus bus. It can also be triggered if a remote display terminal is enabled ([HMI command] (LCC) = [Yes] (YES), page 61) but is disconnected.

Common Causes

  • Interruption or break in the Modbus communication bus cabling.
  • Remote display terminal is disconnected while the [HMI command] (LCC) parameter (page 61) is set to [Yes] (YES).
