For the ATV310 drive, this fault indicates that the current drawn by the motor has exceeded the drive's maximum permissible current limit. This is often caused by incorrect motor control parameters, an excessively high load or inertia, or mechanical binding in the driven system.

Check and verify all parameters in the Motor control menu (300-) against the motor nameplate and application requirements.
Check the sizing of the motor, drive, and mechanical load to ensure they are appropriate for the application.
Inspect the mechanical system for any signs of binding, blockage, or locking that could cause high motor current.
Connect line motor chokes on the input side of the drive if not already present, to reduce current harmonics and transients.
Reduce the Switching frequency range (parameter 315) if it is set too high for the application.
Check the ground connection of the drive, motor cable, and motor insulation for short circuits or ground faults.
