Schneider Electric · Altistart 22 Soft Starter
An internal hardware or software error has occurred within the soft starter itself. This signifies a malfunction of the device's internal components or firmware.
Click steps to track your progress.
1. Cycle power to the soft starter; wait a full 30 seconds after shutdown before reapplying power for a complete reset.
2. Check for loose internal connections, especially ribbon cables or power supply connectors, by gently reseating them.
3. Verify that the incoming control power supply (e.g., 24VDC, 120VAC to L1/L2) is stable and within specified limits using a multimeter.
4. Look for visible signs of damage on the control board (e.g., burnt components, bulging capacitors, discoloration).
5. If safely accessible and documented, measure the internal DC bus voltage (e.g., between P+ and N-) to verify proper power conversion.
