What does trAP mean?

A low-level internal software error or exception has occurred within the soft starter's firmware. This indicates a serious internal malfunction that requires attention, often pointing to a hardware or firmware integrity issue.

• Critical internal software exception or unhandled error within the soft starter's firmware.
• Memory access violation or data corruption in the soft starter's internal memory (e.g., RAM, flash).
• Hardware malfunction on the control board (e.g., CPU, watchdog timer, memory chip) triggering a firmware trap.
• Severe electromagnetic interference (EMI) causing processor instability or data corruption.
• Corrupted firmware image due to a failed update or factory defect leading to a non-recoverable error.

   1. Cycle power to the soft starter; wait a full 60 seconds before reapplying power for a complete system reset.
