SEW Eurodrive · [PDF] Operating Instructions
The inverter's output stage or an internal unit has reached an excessive operating temperature. This can be caused by restricted airflow to the heatsink, high ambient temperatures, inadequate ventilation leading to heat build-up, or excessive load on the drive system. Sustained overtemperature can result in permanent damage to the inverter components.
Click steps to track your progress.
Clean the heat sink thoroughly to ensure proper airflow and heat dissipation.
Measure the ambient temperature in the vicinity of the inverter and verify it is within the specified operating range.
Verify that all ventilation openings are clear and air circulation is adequate.
Reduce the load on the drive to decrease thermal stress.
Reset the fault by switching off the DC 24 V supply voltage to the inverter for at least 10 seconds.
