Siemens · FC1765DC Controller
An error was detected during the evaluation of the motor temperature sensor (configured via p0600 and p0601). This alarm triggers a timer (p0607), after which if the condition persists, a critical fault (F07016) is output. Common causes include wire breakage, disconnected sensor, or the measured resistance being outside acceptable ranges (e.g., KTY: R > 1630 Ohm or R < 50 Ohm, PTC: R < 20 Ohm).
Click steps to track your progress.
1. Monitor the motor's operating current (r0027) and estimated load (r0034) to identify periods of excessive loading.
2. Inspect and clean the motor cooling fins, fan blades, and air inlets/outlets, ensuring unrestricted airflow.
3. Measure the resistance of the motor temperature sensor directly at the drive terminal (e.g., X12) and compare it to the sensor's characteristic curve.
4. Verify that parameter P0600 is correctly set for the installed temperature sensor type and P0601 is assigned to the correct motor.
5. Check the overall cabinet ventilation and ensure the ambient temperature around the motor drive is within its operational specifications.
