Siemens · FC1765DC Controller
A critical error was detected during the evaluation of the motor temperature sensor (configured via p0600 and p0601). This fault is typically issued if Alarm A07015 persists beyond the configured time in p0607, indicating a sustained issue such as wire breakage, disconnected sensor, or out-of-range resistance values (e.g., KTY: R > 1630 Ohm or R < 50 Ohm, PTC: R < 20 Ohm).
Click steps to track your progress.
1. Immediately shut down the machine and allow the motor to cool down to ambient temperature before further diagnostics.
2. Measure the resistance of the motor temperature sensor at the motor terminal box and at the drive input (e.g., X12) to identify sensor or cable damage.
3. Inspect the motor cooling fan for mechanical damage, debris, or proper rotation when power is applied.
4. Confirm that parameter P0600 "Motor temp. sensor type" is correctly configured for the sensor installed in the motor.
5. Perform an insulation resistance test (megohmmeter at 500VDC) on the motor windings to check for insulation breakdown.
